Mommy's Run

Mommy's Run on the east side of lower Lodge Ridge drops from the crest of the ridge into the Spruce Creek gully between Lodge Ridge and the base of Megahooped Trees. The hillside is strewn with many large boulders which, under a deep blanket of snow, provide many interesting features and small drops. Great fun for expert skiers and riders!    The second photo shows the ridgeline of Lodge Ridge and the breadth of Mommy's Run. The Kitchen Range rises behind Lodge Ridge. The last photo shows photographer John Dougall at play on Mommy's Run. Crystal Lite is a second ski run in this area. It lies adjacent to Mommy's Run, to the south, closer to the lower end of Lodge Ridge.              Back to Index
